IR and Financial Communication

Event-related communication and ongoing advisory
We offer IR services that encompass event-related communication, such as during financial reporting, IPOs, acquisitions and mergers, as well as capital raising. We also provide ongoing work in financial advisory, shareholder communication, and strategies for investor interaction. As consultants, we have actively participated in numerous prestigious assignments in the field of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In addition to guiding our clients through the strategic and financial decisions concerning potential transactions, we also consider how a deal will be received by investors and the media. Based on this, we tailor a powerful and concrete communication plan that contributes to successful interaction with investors and other key stakeholders.

An IPO is one of the most significant events in a company's lifetime, but it does not mark the finish line. Instead, we view an IPO as the beginning of life as a public company. Therefore, we provide strategic support to ensure that the spokespersons of the listed company communicate and manage expectations effectively to build long-term shareholder value.

Furthermore, Cord Communications has significant experience in assisting companies with various concrete and practical activities to communicate with important target groups in the capital market. Contact us to learn more about it.

PR and
Corporate positioning

PR strategies and execution of PR work
We have many years of experience in developing PR strategies and executing PR work, both in terms of corporate communications, brand building PR, market PR, and other disciplines within the field of PR, such as crisis management and public opinion shaping.

With a creative approach, we help our clients deliver the right message to their primary target audiences through relevant channels, with the goal of building or strengthening the desired image of our client that truly represents them. This is crucial for sustainable communication work.

In the work we refer to as corporate positioning, we can go beyond traditional PR and IR and create comprehensive communication campaigns with significant impact. We also have extensive experience in communication around financial products and services and work extensively with this type of offering.

Crisis management

Strategy and assistance through challenging situations
When companies need to handle potential or ongoing crises or navigate through other challenging situations, it often requires an experienced team that can effectively manage and coordinate communication both internally and with shareholders, media, authorities, the public, political decision-makers, or various interest groups.

We have extensive and deep experience in handling such situations where we can provide different perspectives and act both as advisors and in a more operational role in crisis management. Through our insights into how the capital market operates in practice, how political decisions and regulatory changes can arise, and what differentiates media successes from media storms, we can guide our clients through most types of challenging situations.

Sustainability

Sustainability communication that strengthens the brand
We help our clients initiate and develop their sustainability communication, including strategy and governance, with the aim of meeting the expectations of investors and other stakeholders. Together with our clients, we design a plan and identify the key areas that are relevant. The ultimate goal is to translate this into concrete steps forward. Cord can assist in writing sustainability reports, developing messaging, reviewing governing documents, conducting benchmark studies, or performing materiality analyses – all based on the client's needs.

The introduction of the new EU regulation, CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), which comes into effect on January 1, 2024, has further emphasized the focus on companies' sustainability efforts. Regardless of whether or when a company will be subject to the new rules, it is wise to start looking into this well in advance. This is something we are happy to assist with.
